Ep. 3: Grell Trains Under Sebastian While Ciel Navigates Elizabeth's Visit and a Broken Ring

Madame Red assigns Grell to train under Sebastian. Grell learns the Phantomhive estate burned down three years ago, killing Ciel's parents and leaving him an orphan. Elizabeth Middleford, known as Lizzie, arrives at the manor. She decorates the house and demands Ciel dance with her. Sebastian teaches Ciel to dance and convinces him to comply to protect his social reputation. When Ciel refuses to wear a ring Lizzie gave him, she breaks his family ring, unaware of its value to him. Ciel discards the broken ring out the window, pretending it does not matter. He then asks Lizzie to dance. That night, Sebastian restores the ring and returns it to Ciel, undamaged.
