Ep. 7: Seiji Ino manages his edge phobia while negotiating a bar deposit with rival Yoshiyasu.

Seiji Ino, a Yakuza member with belonephobia, resolves a conflict with rival leader Yoshiyasu over a bar deposit. After his wife places a deposit on a venue owned by Yoshiyasu’s syndicate, Seiji attempts to mitigate his fear of sharp objects by wearing ski goggles. He experiences panic attacks when encountering table edges and the saw used to remove them. Seeking help, Seiji visits Irabu General Hospital on Christmas Eve, where Irabu is photographing a Christmas pudding for Yuta. Irabu accompanies Seiji to Restorante Pero’s, introducing himself as Irabu the Quack from Hiroshima. There, Irabu identifies Yoshiyasu’s own obsessive-compulsive reliance on a knife as a security blanket. By taking the knife, Irabu enables Seiji to negotiate and retrieve the deposit. Following a vitamin injection that temporarily transforms Seiji into a small dog, he shows signs of overcoming his fear.
