Journalist Yoshio Iwamura, suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder, undergoes unconventional therapy by Dr. Irabu at a corrupt rival hospital. Irabu encourages Yoshio to throw rocks at the facility, leading to a window being broken and their subsequent flight. Due to his condition, Yoshio is transferred to a teen magazine and tasked with investigating the "Homeless Poet," a fraud using fake articles to lure women. Enraged by the deception, Yoshio chases the poet while worrying about the hospital director’s car, which Irabu had tampered with. The director crashes the vehicle, spilling medical waste and revealing the poet’s scheme to help illegal immigrants using dead family records. Yoshio exposes both criminals, regaining his fame. Irabu praises Yoshio’s disorder for its positive outcome, and Yoshio later sees a share house advertisement before receiving an injection that transforms him into a raccoon.
