Ep. 10: Class periods cover warmth, fairy tales, and a leaf as students interact
Aired on December 8, 2008

10
Cold weather leads classmates to press their chilled hands against Natsumi’s face, but Ryōta’s criticism redirects them to him, where most hands have already warmed except for Kazumi’s. A common belief in saliva sterilizing wounds prompts Yūki to urge Chika to kiss Ryōta’s irritated eye, resulting in her punching him. Later, Yūki discovers Kazumi writing a fairy tale where Ryōta is a prince with short legs and Chika is the princess he must save through trials. Finally, Kōji and Tsubasa seek Ryōta’s help to assist Natsumi in coping with the depressing ending of a book she recently finished reading.
