Ep. 12: Roasted Sweet Potatoes, Grinding Noises, Lottery, Munching, and Merry Christmas

Yūki, Kazumi, Megumi, Natsumi, and Chika encounter a roasted sweet potato stand on a cold day, leading to a silent contest over five potatoes of varying sizes. Ryōta, Kōji, and Tsubasa interrupt this dispute. Later, snow begins falling at school, causing Class 5-2 students to debate a nursery rhyme’s meaning, resulting in them being the last ones outside. In town, Ryōta and Kazumi participate in the district lottery. During home economics, Yuki claims chalk is edible, but Chika stops her and tests Ryōta’s gullibility. Ryōta fails the test by criticizing Chika’s cooking, causing regret. After a few days, he regains her forgiveness through a kiss.
