Three years after surviving the Fourth Holy Grail War in Fuyuki, Waver Velvet receives an invitation from Reines El-Melloi Archisorte, the stepsister of his mentor Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald. Reines, who holds a significant interest in Waver due to the substantial debt he incurred to purchase the El-Melloi class, demands an explanation for his situation. Reluctantly, Waver begins to narrate his experiences following the war, specifically detailing his visit to Babylon. During this time, he became entangled in an incident within the city, a location rumored to be where Iskandar spent his final moments. Additionally, this period saw an unforeseen reunion with Melvin Weins, a former classmate from his past.
