Keitaro finds a doll that moves independently, astonishing the other residents. While most are amazed by the phenomenon, Keitaro and Mutsumi are the only ones who can hear it speak. The doll reveals that Keitaro’s great-grandfather made a promise to repair its legs but failed to do so. Determined to honor his ancestor's word, Keitaro resolves to fix the doll. He enlists the help of the girls at the inn to complete this task, turning a mysterious discovery into a personal mission to fulfill a long-standing family obligation.
