Three bank robberies involving an iron-cutter sword have resulted in the theft of 1.3 billion yen. Lupin and his group deduce that Goemon is responsible because the culprit ruthlessly killed a security guard. Meanwhile, an impostor claiming to be Goemon sends a challenge to Lupin. However, the real Goemon intends to settle the score alone. He travels to the bank to confront his foe, unaware that the meeting is actually a trap set for him.
