Ep. 38: Speed discovers a bomb in the Mach 5 after an assassination attempt on Princess Gracious.

An assassin fails to kill Princess Gracious of Ambrocia because a racer blinded him with a mirror flash. The assassins mistakenly blame Speed for this interference and plant a bomb inside the Mach 5 to eliminate him. Speed receives a warning from Spritle, allowing him to defuse the device just in time. During this process, he uncovers a larger conspiracy involving the assassins, who plan to detonate explosives during the President's speech. Speed rushes to protect the President, but the bomb ultimately explodes. This episode was painted and traced in Colour by Tatsunoko Production.
