Ep. 23: Eagle Vision breaches the crown room while Lantis and Hikaru witness Emeraude’s tragic past.
Eagle Vision escapes his cell and heads for the crown room, prompting Clef to alert the Magic Knights. Alcyone wakes up and mistakes Lantis for Zagato, unable to answer questions about Lady Debonair without pain. On the NSX, repairs begin as Fahren withdraws. Eagle seeks his sword from Lantis to access the crown room. Jhe confronts Lantis, detonating bombs that force the Magic Knights to split up. Lantis catches Eagle, and their fight causes gems in Lantis' sword and Clef's ring to glow upon Hikaru's arrival. The trio is teleported outside the crown room, where Lantis' sword opens the door. Eagle, Lantis, and Hikaru enter and face water attacks, triggering visions of Emeraude accepting the Pillar, her love for Zagato, and her death at the hands of the Magic Knights. Emeraude tells Hikaru and Eagle that Cephiro's fate rests with them before they are ejected, leaving Lantis to wonder who will become the Pillar.
