Ep. 20: Magic Knights Rest While New Pillar Emerges Amidst Nova’s Threat
A blinding light knocks Hikaru and Eagle Vision unconscious, triggering a vision where Hikaru witnesses Zagato’s past confession to Lantis regarding his love for the princess and his plan to abolish the Pillar system. Lantis, moved by their tragedy, seeks to create a world without such sacrifices. Hikaru awakens to learn of a ceasefire due to Eagle’s imprisonment, while Geo prepares the NSX. Lantis visits the imprisoned Eagle, who vows to complete his mission despite the crown’s transformation signaling a new Pillar. Meanwhile, Debonair blames Emeraude for her weakened state and advises Nova to pursue Lantis. The Magic Knights enjoy a brief peace with palace residents, during which Fuu sings and Mira discusses Lantis’s views. The calm ends when Nova attacks Hikaru, taunts her about Lantis, and teleports away to kill him.
