Ep. 1: Madoka encounters dream girl Homura who warns her before magical girl rescue

Madoka Kaname is shocked when Homura Akemi, a girl from her dream, enrolls at her school and warns her to remain unchanged. While shopping with Sayaka Miki, Madoka follows a voice to find Homura attacking Kyubey, revealing herself as a magical girl. Sayaka rescues Madoka, but they are trapped in a barrier by monsters. Mami Tomoe arrives to save them using her magic. Mami confronts Homura, allowing her to leave without conflict. Kyubey recovers and proposes a contract to transform Madoka and Sayaka into magical girls.
