Mirai tells her grandmother about attending Magic School, then accompanies Riko to the Magical Shopping District to purchase necessary equipment. After acquiring a uniform and a broom, Mirai learns the motivation behind Riko’s search for the Emerald Linkle Stone. Spalda, an enemy, steals Mirai's Diamond Linkle Stone, blocking their transformation and summoning a Rock Orange Yokubal to attack the area. Cornered, Riko’s desire to protect her town awakens a Ruby Linkle Stone hidden within the town's flames. This power allows both girls to transform into the Ruby Style, enabling them to defeat the Yokubal and recover the stolen Diamond Linkle Stone.
