Following Mitaka and Asuna’s wedding, Godai and Kyoko travel to Niigata to meet his parents. The couple arrives to find the family restaurant still operating, a setup by Yukari to show them their daily life. Kyoko joins the staff as a waitress, enjoying the experience. Yukari gifts Godai her old engagement ring and offers financial support for their wedding. Touched by this generosity, Kyoko is warmly accepted into the family. The evening concludes with the surprise arrival of the Maison Ikkoku tenants, who were invited by Yukari to celebrate the occasion together.
