Ep. 91: Kyoko confronts Akemi while Godai faces a crisis with Kozue and Akemi

Kyoko stops speaking to her father after he visits Mr. Otonashi without permission. Angry, she returns to Maison Ikkoku to see the new manager. On the way, she encounters Yotsuya, Akemi, and Mrs. Ichinose drinking. Akemi teases Kyoko, claiming she will pursue Godai if Kyoko does not return. Kyoko angrily encourages this and leaves. She briefly sees Godai cleaning at Maison Ikkoku, which calms her. Later, Godai receives a call from Akemi, who is in a love hotel with no money and threatens suicide. He arrives at room 302 to find her drunk. As they leave, they run into Kozue and her friends. Kozue assumes they spent the night together and walks away silently. The next day, Akemi claims she helped Godai end things with Kozue, but he feels regret. He tries calling Kozue with no success. Mrs. Ichinose visits Kyoko, explaining the Kozue situation was a misunderstanding, and Kyoko agrees to return. However, she meets Kozue, who breaks down crying after seeing Godai and Akemi leave the hotel together.
