Ep. 3: Elaina encounters magical flowers and a mage's misguided attempt to gift happiness to a slave.

In the first story, Elaina receives a bouquet from a girl in a flower field. Upon entering the next kingdom, a guard identifies the flowers as belonging to his missing sister. Another guard reveals the flowers are magical. Elaina returns the next day to find the girl has turned into a plant, and her brother is undergoing the same transformation. Unable to intervene, Elaina departs. In the second story, Elaina meets a mage named Emil who collects happiness to give to Nino, a girl he likes. Emil invites Elaina inside, revealing that Nino is actually a depressed and abused slave in his family. Emil gives Nino the gift, unaware that witnessing others' happiness only deepens her depression. Elaina leaves afterward and never sees Nino again.
