Ep. 1: Angel Flonne Awakens Demon Prince Laharl in Tomb Amidst Pursuit

Angel apprentice Flonne enters a demon tomb to awaken Laharl, the demon prince, so they can journey to reclaim his status as Netherworld overlord. Their path is obstructed by lion demons attempting to stop them. A spaceship crash introduces Captain Gordon, Jennifer, and Thursday, who mistakenly identify Laharl as a wanted criminal. During the tomb's destruction, Flonne loses her strength-giving pendant, which Thursday secretly retrieves. Laharl subsequently defeats a surviving lion demon.
