Laharl and Etna learn of a bounty on his head during a forest walk, while Flonne becomes separated and lost in a desert. Seeking shelter from rain, the pair enters an estate and is invited to dinner by Saldia, who reveals herself as a demon slayer. Captain Gordon, Jennifer, and Thursday, aware of the bounty, infiltrate the location. Saldia traps everyone in an underground cavern, where Laharl and Etna face a shark demon attack before breaking through the barrier. Meanwhile, Saldia confronts Flonne outside regarding the bounty. Vyers appears, allowing Laharl to use the distraction to defeat Saldia. Finally, Laharl demands Saldia guide him to the castle to identify the person responsible for the bounty.
