Ep. 12: Laharl, Flonne, and Etna reach Celestia and confront Vulcanus and Seraph Lamington
Laharl, Flonne, and Etna arrive in Celestia but are blocked by Vulcanus and demon warriors. Laharl defeats the warriors, forcing Vulcanus to retreat. Inside the sanctuary, they meet Seraph Lamington. Flonne convinces Lamington that Vulcanus holds prejudiced views against demons. As punishment, Lamington turns Vulcanus into a toad. Lamington reveals he sent Flonne to awaken Laharl from poison-induced slumber to unite Celestia and the Netherworld peacefully. However, Flonne is turned into a flower for injuring celestial hosts who attacked the battleship. Enraged, Laharl destroys the sanctuary but spares Lamington out of love. He sacrifices his life to resurrect Flonne as a demon. Etna becomes the new overlord, while Laharl is reincarnated as a prinny.
