Gen recruits the Venus mercenary unit while Takeru receives his Maken. Akaya Kodai announces that Venus members will attend as exchange students until summer to hunt the Yamata no Orochi revival culprit. Yang Ming provokes Azuki, leading Yuka to organize a three-on-three volleyball match in the gym. Haruko, Azuki, and Chacha face Demitra Midia, Syria Ootsuka, and Yang Ming, with Aki refereeing. Furan wagers that Maken-ki will join Venus if they lose. The match escalates into a duel between Haruko and Demitra that destroys the gym. The game ends in a draw, and both teams take a commemorative group photo.
