Following intense security committee training, Takeru meets Kodama at a park to investigate the mark on his chest. While they shop and visit a maid café, Haruko, Inaho, and Kengo secretly tail them. The pair is ambushed by Kodama’s admirers, but she repels them using her Maken, Yasakani. Hebiyama Hideteru of Kamigari then attacks, prompting Takeru to save Kodama by kissing her in the lake. Takeru retains no memory of the event, yet Kodama returns the kiss, shocking their pursuers and the stalker trio.
