Feb 6, 2014Takeru, Haruko, Inaho, Kengo, and Azuki find Kimi Satō and Chacha in the student council room. They learn that Tenbi Academy is hosting a manga festival for amateur works and cosplay. Kimi needs models for her manga, so the Maken-ki girls pose for her. Chacha creates the costumes and Kimi finishes the copies. At the festival, Kimi’s manga sells out and the girls dress up. Two male students disrupt the masquerade contest using Maken to animate manga characters and trap girls in ropes. The Maken-ki members defeat the animated figures and free the captives. Chacha and Kimi pursue the attackers and defeat them using their Maken, Compressor and Comic Star, which manipulate object density and bring drawings to life. The group decides to participate in the rescheduled event later that year.

Aki Fakes a Boyfriend and Gets Trapped on an Island with Takeru
Feb 13, 2014After lying to her mother about having a boyfriend to avoid an arranged marriage, Aki must provide photographic proof. She snaps a picture with Takeru, who is recovering from injuries at the school infirmary. Both awaken handcuffed together in a log cabin on an island, having been left there by Aki’s mother as a gift. A note instructs them to survive two days until a boat arrives. The forced proximity leads them to share meals, bathing, and sleep, drawing them closer. When rain forces them under a tree, they nearly kiss before being interrupted by Haruko and Kodama. Takeru’s explanation of the handcuffs is undermined when they suddenly vanish, leaving him in a difficult position. Aki ultimately finds value in the brief experience of pretending to have a partner.

Uruchi faces challenges and obsession while competing for leadership committee candidacy

Uruchi becomes motivated to serve as vice president under Haruko, whom she obsesses over. This obsession acts as both a distraction and a driving force throughout the camp. Although she passes the study camp, Furan and Yuka deem her unready due to her fixation. They assign her to secretly follow Haruko for a week and submit a detailed report. Observing Haruko play with a puppet of Takeru, Uruchi realizes Haruko loves the real Takeru, confirming her feelings are unrequited. Regretful and acknowledging her selfishness and immaturity, Uruchi withdraws her candidacy. This act convinces Furan and Yuka that she is qualified to lead the committee in the future.

Kodama acquires a talking German teddy bear named Rudolf who causes trouble.
Feb 27, 2014Kodama purchases a German antique teddy bear named Rudolf, who is perverted and speaks. He manipulates Haruko and Inaho while Kodama cannot return him to the shopkeeper. Rudolf claims he desired freedom from being a toy and escapes to bother Aki. Meanwhile, Kodama joins Maken-ki to catch a vandal using a sledgehammer Element. She is defeated because she exhausted her energy on Rudolf. Rudolf intervenes, summoning the power of all teddy bears to defeat the vandal. He appears to die from Element depletion but is later seen alive in the girls' bedroom, spying on them.

Kengo's tyrannical rule at Tenbi Academy sparks a student revolution led by Kodama.
Mar 6, 2014Minori resigns as principal of Tenbi Academy and appoints Kengo to gain favor with female students. Kengo enforces strict, perverted policies using male officers, altering syllabi and events while visiting classrooms taught by Tomika Amato and Minori. Takeru joins Kengo's squad, but the students eventually rebel against his abuse of authority. Kodama challenges Kengo to a strip rock paper scissors contest for the principal role, defeating him repeatedly. Upon losing the final match, Kengo removes his red underwear, horrifying the students. The narrative concludes with an elderly Kengo on his deathbed, experiencing a final vision of a devilish Kodama before passing away.

Azuki Cross-Dresses as Kazuki to Help Furan Overcome Her Fear of Men
Mar 13, 2014Furan develops feelings for a mysterious helper in the rain, who turns out to be Azuki. To cure Furan's androphobia, Yuka and the Maken-ki members force Azuki to cross-dress as Kazuki and date her. They visit an arcade, café, and wedding suite, where Furan enjoys the outing while Azuki struggles. Later, hooligans led by a student who manipulates his Element into binding ropes attack them at the park. Although Azuki cannot defeat them alone, Furan realizes the truth about Kazuki's identity. She uses her Maken, Habaya, a bow firing homing light arrows, to break the ropes and rescue Azuki. Afterward, Furan returns to her normal state, having overcome her fear.

Maken-ki recruits Gen and Akaya while Minori defeats a shadow agent with Dragon Ace
Mar 20, 2014Years after Maken-ki’s founding, Minori, Aki, and Tomiko recruit Gen Tagayashi. They witness Akaya Kodai use his Swindle revolver to incapacitate Leo Hirata. Minori fails to recruit Akaya despite a safe theft in the principal’s office. A burglar is intercepted, revealing the safe was a decoy. The burglar is knocked out remotely. At a water fountain, Gen and Akaya discover a shadow agent controlling Nohana Saku. Minori, Aki, and Tomiko arrive to free Nohana. Minori uses her new Maken, Dragon Ace, a thermal energy glove, to defeat the agent. Consequently, Akaya agrees to join Maken-ki.
