Ep. 8: Chifusa Imprisoned by a Manyu Swordsman and Rescued by Mie

Chifusa and Kaede encounter Lord Hatomune Mie, who lives incognito in a village. After Mie guides them through the town, the pair is ambushed by a Manyu swordsman who abducts Chifusa to a local lord’s palace. The attacker extracts the Manyu scroll from Chifusa and tests its techniques on her before returning her to the Manyu clan. Kaede seeks Mie’s assistance, and the duo infiltrates the mansion. Mie defeats numerous soldiers and frees Chifusa from her dungeon confinement. As Mie eliminates the local lord, Chifusa confronts and kills the Manyu swordsman. The trio escapes safely, and Chifusa offers Mie a sexual favor as a reward, which he unexpectedly declines.
