Ep. 22: Ringo meets Himari's friends while Kanba faces medical resistance and police pursuit

Ringo encounters Himari’s childhood friends, Hibari and Hikari, who request she deliver a gift to Himari. Meanwhile, Sanetoshi informs Kanba that his medicine no longer works on Himari due to resistance, and only his group’s objective can save her. Himari discovers his hideout beneath the aquarium where she died and prays for Kanba’s safety before collapsing. Yuri returns half of the diary to Ringo and stays with an unconscious Tabuki, who was stabbed by Yuri’s former lover. Masako warns Kanba that police have a warrant, but he ignores her to protect her during the confrontation. Injured, Kanba is rescued by his comrades while Masako stays behind to distract the authorities.
