Ringo receives assistance from Himari to prepare lunch for a date with Tabuki at the park. Meanwhile, Kanba instructs Shouma to accompany her and search her bag for a diary, suspecting a connection to the Penguindrum. Upon arriving, they encounter a skunk that sprays Ringo before fleeing. After changing clothes, Ringo and Shouma meet Tabuki, who introduces Yuri Tokikago, an actress Ringo had previously seen with him. When crows destroy Ringo's lunch, she feels overshadowed by Yuri's picnic. Attempting to fulfill a diary entry about a first kiss, Ringo plans to jump into the pond so Tabuki can save her. However, the skunk reappears and knocks her into the water, forcing Shouma to perform CPR. Ringo mistakenly believes Tabuki saved her. Later, a girl Kanba met is pushed down an escalator, matching a diary prediction.
