Ep. 41: Ikki and Kouji struggle with leadership while Karen and a mysterious girl face Team Caribbean.
Following a close loss in an exhibition match, Ikki and Kouji worry about the upcoming championship, particularly because Space Medafighter X has not yet appeared. Their tension escalates into an argument over who should lead the team until they rescue a young girl from the Caribbean team and allow her to observe their training. During the subsequent robattle, Karen is forced to pilot MedaX once more. However, the situation becomes complicated when they discover the girl they assisted is actually the daughter of Team Caribbean's leader. As Team Caribbean dominates Team Japan, the trio must unite to overcome their opponents and advance to the next round. With the friends finally cooperating, Henry prepares to introduce the true Space Medafighter X, leaving the team's future performance against the remaining competition uncertain.
