Ep. 45: Spyke Must Prove His Worth Against Team Egypt in Quarter Finals
Ikki, Kouji, and Spyke face Team Egypt in the quarter finals. Leader Patra warns that they cannot win without identifying their weakest link, leading Kouji to assume Spyke is that member due to his Medabot. During training, Kouji dismisses Spyke, insisting he stay out of the way. However, once the robattle starts and Team Egypt takes an early lead, Patra reveals that Kouji is actually the weakest teammate. Shocked by this revelation, Kouji struggles to process the information, leaving Spyke to step up and prevent Team Egypt from winning. In a separate subplot, Ikki and Rintarou discuss the Ten Days of Darkness from eight years ago at the WRC. Ikki is shocked to discover that Henry, the competitor Rintarou obsesses over, was responsible for the incident while using a Metabee.
