Ep. 1003: The 36-Cell Perfect Game (Part One)

Kogoro, Conan, Amuro, and sushi craftsman Kanenori Wakita travel to Nagano after Yasuo Hihara requested four people. They replace Sonoko, who has a fever, and Ran. At an abandoned church, they meet Yorito Fujide, Kohei Wada, Ikue Furuura, Yosuke Kawasaki, and Sumiya Nishino. The group learns Hihara committed suicide there two months ago. A loud noise collapses the parking lot, trapping the nine individuals. They contact the Nagano Prefectural Police. Officers Kansuke Yamato, Yui Uehara, and Takaaki Morofushi arrive but find the tunnel blocked by an avalanche. Morofushi detects gunpowder, suspecting an artificial trap. Meanwhile, Conan and his friends prepare for the night and begin decoding a katakana cipher found in Hihara's letter.
