Yoko Okino visits the Mori Detective Agency to request assistance with a case at a villa. She explains that a few days prior, she and a Nippei TV producer traveled there for location scouting, following her sister who had disappeared after marriage. Also present were her sister's husband, Yoko's brother, and his wife, with the group deciding to stay overnight. While Kogoro was preparing to present his theory, he was interrupted by a need to use the bathroom. At that moment, Kennori Wakita from Iroha Sushi arrived at the scene.
