Conan and Megumi find Tamanosuke at Tetsuo’s crime scene before he is attacked. Itoe Ogiwara is discovered dead in the stage basement, clutching a letter. At the hospital, the suspect known as the real Edo Boy tries to kill the recovering Tamanosuke but fails. Conan reveals the truth by tranquilizing Richard. Tamanosuke knew Edo Boy killed Tetsuo due to blackmail but did not know his identity. Ogiwara died because she misunderstood the letter, thinking her money laundering was exposed. Kenzo Tajima is identified as Edo Boy and the murderer. His fingerprints on Tatsuo’s keyboard prove he deleted files. Kenzo apologizes to the cast and staff before being arrested for the murders.
