Conan informs Haibara that the purple handkerchief narrows the suspect list at a party for the film "The Rainbow Handkerchief," identifying Pisco as a target. After guests flee in panic, Pisco knocks Haibara unconscious, trapping her in a locked wine storage room. Conan contacts her via device, stating police have detained seven suspects to buy her time. He instructs her to drink wine, which, combined with her cold, will counteract APTX 4869 and revert her to Shiho Miyano. Meanwhile, Gin and Vodka arrive at the hotel and proceed toward the storage room where Haibara is held captive.
