While returning from school, Conan and Haibara place a listening device in Gin's Porsche 356. Conan intercepts orders for Black Organization member Pisco to assassinate a target at a party in the Haido Hotel. Gin discovers a strand of Haibara's hair in the vehicle, locates the bug, and destroys it. He deduces Haibara will attend the event and instructs Pisco to eliminate her if possible. Conan and Haibara proceed to the hotel to apprehend Pisco. During a slideshow presentation, Pisco kills his target, lawyer Shigehiko Nomiguchi, by causing a chandelier to fall on him.
