The Detective Boys and Ran go camping, where they witness an arguing couple who later return to reclaim their spot. After the girlfriend yields the area, Ran is drugged and kidnapped. The perpetrator is discovered in a car accident, and Conan deduces that the boyfriend hired the kidnapper to kill his girlfriend but captured Ran due to the tent location. Investigating clues, Conan determines Ran is trapped in a river that will flood at 3 o'clock. He rescues her just in time. Following the event, everyone is exhausted, except for Ran, who has just woken up from a nap.
