Their leisure trip turns into a crisis when a mysterious individual threatens a suicide bombing. This attacker deliberately left a cell phone to initiate a cryptic text message game with the detectives. Heiji and Conan must decipher the codes sent by the unknown person before the explosion occurs. The situation adds significant stress to the group, who originally sought relaxation. Solving this case and preventing loss of life requires the duo to utilize extensive knowledge regarding baseball, one of Japan's most popular pastimes, to stop the attacker.
