Aired on February 7, 2005

Conan deduces that the genuine Stradivarius violin lured the grandmother to her fatal fall. He identifies Kyousuke as the culprit, who explains the instrument originated from his family. Kyousuke’s father was instructed by his brother Choichirou to swap the violin with a replica. When Choichirou discovered the deception during an argument, Kyousuke’s father fell down the stairs. Choichirou then ordered the family to withhold medical assistance and stage the incident as a robbery, resulting in his death. As Kyousuke is arrested, Conan analyzes cellphone numbers linked to a song melody. He discovers that the number corresponds to the tune of "Seven Children," revealing the identity of the Boss of the Black Organization.
