The culprit manipulated the timeline by cutting and fast-forwarding video segments, initially setting the time two hours behind and gradually correcting it throughout the day. Following this revelation, Takagi nearly proposes to Sato, but Megure interrupts to inform him that Chousuke Takagi is assigned to the case. The group then takes the Detective Boys to a karaoke session.
