Conan reveals that Eiko and Ryou fabricated alibis to protect each other, with Ryou finding Eiko’s pendant at the scene. While Ishitobi’s DUI charge validates his alibi, Conan deduces Fujie’s guilt by analyzing the temple registry and Wanibuchi’s nickname. Fujie manipulated the timeline by visiting the castle twice and used an erasable pen to falsify his registration time after the murder. He orchestrated a meeting between Eiko and Wanibuchi to use Eiko as a decoy. Conan tricks Fujie into confessing by exposing that the address he provided for a false name references Narisei City, which is no longer part of Tokyo. After the case is solved, Kogorou attempts to make a wish using a coin at the Izumo Knot, only to have all the coins fall on him.
