The Detective Boys tour a rental house in Beika, where Conan spots the Mouri Detective Agency from the third floor. After the property is sold to an elderly couple, Conan follows the man to Chinatown and witnesses a meeting with a Chinese antique dealer. Suspicious of a camera pointed at the agency, Conan deduces the couple is using disguises. He later feigns sleep as a man in black enters with a gun, but this is actually Professor Agasa luring Conan’s mother, Vivian, to the agency. Conan reveals his suspicion arose because the old man stood up using his hands, a habit of elderly men in seclusion. Vivian admits she wanted to observe Conan’s daily life and see more of young Shinichi.
