Professor Agasa visits a cheesecake bakery with the Detective Boys, but Genta stays behind in the underground parking lot to practice soccer. After hearing a strange noise, he loses his balance, hits his head, and falls unconscious. Upon waking, he searches for his ball and finds Ludger Heinen, a German national, suffering from a severe head wound. The group arrives after Genta screams. Ludger points at Genta, utters the word "criminal" and "El," then passes out. Police arrive, noting the attacker sought money. Conan deduces that only three individuals were present in the parking lot during the incident.
