Aired on May 21, 2007

473
Shinichi Kudo solves the initial riddle and proceeds to the school, where he discovers the next clue attached to a stop sign. This letter features a combination of kanji and mahjong symbols that, when read, indicate Beika City Hall. Upon arriving at the location, Shinichi finds a sign on a pole displaying the message "S → W". He interprets this as referring to the sunset and assumes his father created the riddle for his entertainment.
