The following day, the building is burned down, though all residents escape safely. Police suspect three individuals who were absent during the fire: Ryuhei Hosoi, Subaru Okiya, and Ginya Makabe. Kaito’s diary provides clues about a red, white, and yellow man, leading the group to interrogate the suspects. Conan attempts to solve the mystery while Haibara senses a Black Organization member nearby. Jodie contacts Conan to report that the organization has acquired a new member codenamed Bourbon. The investigation reveals Kaito’s interest in model cars and his use of the alias Kuroshiro in his writings.
