Kogoro attends a party for a new game featuring him, while Conan encounters a man using the alias Tequila who plans to meet Gin and Vodka. After Tequila is killed in a bathroom explosion, Conan deduces it was a failed assassination attempt. Using his voice-changing bow tie, Conan reveals that game designer Nakajima Hideaki and Tequila swapped suitcases. He identifies Takeshita Hironobu as the bomber, who targeted Hideaki due to an affair with his wife. Evidence shows Hideaki’s key fits the suitcase Hironobu holds. Conan then investigates Tequila’s contacts at a cafe in the Apollo building, discovering Gin and Vodka caused an explosion to destroy evidence of their presence.
