Conan overhears police discussing a thief's next move with Kogoro. Haibara, the Detective Boys, and Inoue join him to search for Justin and the culprit. They track the suspect, causing him to drop a stuffed toy by scattering similar items. Police arrest him when he attempts to steal money. The thief is revealed to be Kouda. Ayumi locates the toy containing a USB drive. When Inoue tries to seize it, Haibara intervenes. Sleeping Kogoro explains that Inoue actually stole the secret data.
