Conan is abducted while traveling to meet Kaneko and wakes up in a dark basement beneath the noise of demolition machinery. Lacking his phone, he tries to use his Detective Boys badge to call for help but receives no response. Meanwhile, Ran and the Detective Boys grow worried when Conan fails to return home. Ai employs a GPS tracker to locate Conan's phone, discovering it in a narrow alleyway in Ginza. Suspecting a kidnapping linked to the ongoing case, the group activates their badges and waits for Conan to respond to their calls.
