The following morning, Takemi Yamakura, one of the attendees, is discovered murdered at the base of a cliff. Initial suspicion points toward Taro Hayashida, an employee at a local weather station. However, Conan notices inconsistencies in the case that suggest the obvious suspect may not be the true culprit, prompting a deeper investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death.
