Ep. 863: Spirit Detective Murder Investigation Begins with a Fatal Call

Kogoro receives a call from spirit detective Hotta Gaito, who plans to summon Haneda Koji. At the hotel lobby, Kogoro and Conan meet Toto TV director Kokuri Senpei before discovering Gaito dead in his room. Kogoro spots a figure flying toward the balcony and checks the adjacent room, where he finds Masumi Sera. Meanwhile, Conan investigates the balcony, noting a car parked directly below the victim. He photographs the vehicle and the area beneath the balcony, unaware that Mary Sera is hiding there. Conan departs the scene without noticing that his voice-changer bow tie has fallen from his pants and is retrieved by Mary.
