Ep. 873: Investigation into Someji's Murder Involving Heiji and Local Witnesses

Heiji Hattori investigates the brutal murder of documentary reporter Someji after Kogoro Mouri and Shinichi Kudo are unavailable. The suspect pool includes archaeologist Tanzawa Michiki, art graduate Masuko Fumie, and reporter Hajime. Tanzawa is found dead from poison with two sting marks under his chin, coinciding with a nue scream and a mysterious water drop witnessed by Densuke. Inspector Sango Yokomizo of the Shizuoka Police secures the area with the Self Defense Force. Fumie denies involvement, and Hajime is considered too distant from the crime scene to be responsible for the killings.
