Ep. 933: Kogoro investigates the kidnapping of a racehorse amid death threats and ransom demands.

At a horse racing venue, Kogoro gambles despite Conan’s pleas to leave. Following the race, three individuals hire Kogoro to protect White Spirits, a racehorse owned by Tokuyoshi Kozo, who has received death threats for a month. Kogoro and Conan visit Tokuyoshi Stables to secure the animal. The next day, the horse is transported in a trailer that makes an unexpected detour before arriving at its destination. Tokuyoshi discovers the horse has been swapped and pays a ransom, discarding the money over a bridge. Police surveillance reveals the bag’s contents were switched, suggesting the culprit escaped with the funds. Later, a blood-stained blanket covering White Spirits is discovered.
