Ep. 10: Marry and Shion's Tragic Past Leads to Marry Meeting Seto and Konoha
Aired on June 15, 2014
Flashbacks reveal Azami fighting villagers to protect her daughter Shion before fleeing to spare her family. Shion later raises Marry in isolation until humans kidnap them, killing both with a wooden object on August 15. They enter the Heat Haze, ruled by the Snake of Clearing Eyes, where Azami passes her queen role to Marry, allowing her return to the real world. Seto senses Marry's distress and befriends her. In the present, Marry encounters Konoha on the street, takes him to the hideout, and decides to befriend him and introduce him to the others.
