Ep. 9: Ayano Discovers Family Secrets and Snake Threats

Kenjirou introduces Ayano to adopted siblings Kido, Kano, and Seto, who warn her they are monsters. Ayano ignores this and plays with them, leading to the creation of “The Graffiti Rangers” after they mark their faces. On August 15, a landslide kills their parents and sister Ayaka during research, leaving only Kenjirou alive. Grieving, Ayano finds her mother’s journal, revealing the Heat Haze and her father’s red eyes. She shares this with Kano, who uses his eye power to impersonate her at school while she investigates. They discover Kenjirou has a double personality and his snake aims to bring other snakes into the real world using Takane and Haruka as sacrifices. The physical snakes gather around Marry, the queen snake. Kano later tells Ene about these findings while visiting Takane’s old school, where he reveals her preserved body in a liquid container.
